My 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada started sputtering today over 1500 RPMs?

I went to take the dog for a ride in my Bravada and going up the first hill I immediately noticed it was sputtering badly. It almost died a couple times. I turned around and parked it in my driveway. It was running rough before, but it wasn't sputtering. It's been rainy here for about two straight weeks now, I checked the coil which doesn't seem to be wet, the distributor caps looks lopsided now, though. The passenger side of it is higher than the drivers side, would that affect how it runs?
