1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Roy. Brog. Motor Swap ....I need an answer...?

Alright guys. i bought the car from my bro runs Great has a 307 olds in it now...i gota 355 thats almost built....Over 400 horse and i was wondering if i could take the motor and tranny (355 SBC and TH350) out of a chevy,and Drop right in place where the 307 and i think it is a 700r4 Not shure tho..It has over drive(i didnt get a chance to look yet) But any help is helpfull Thanks
